The four story building features several rental apartment floor plans. Those desiring independent living or requiring assisted living will be accommodated. The community features beautiful landscaping with ponds, waterfalls and picturesque mountain views.

Q: What sort of apartments and amenities are available?

A: We offer studio, one bedroom, and two bedroom apartments each with a kitchenette, private bath, and 24 hour emergency response system.

All residents will have access to the community center as well as planned activities, transportation and amenities such as dining, beauty and barber salon, library, activity and recreation rooms, and cable TV on various floors.

Q: What if my health changes and I need personal assistance?

A:
Ponds at Punalu'u can accommodate residents requiring personal care assistance which may include medication monitoring, grooming and bathing assistance, ‘round-the-clock well-being monitoring, personal laundry, and stand-by or hands-on assistance with one or more of the activities of daily living. Basic services in assisted living include a 24-hour staffing and emergency response system, three meals per day, weekly housekeeping and linen service, planned activities and scheduled transportation. Q: What are The Ponds at Punalu'u rates, lease terms and financial arrangements?

A: The Ponds at Punalu'u is a rental retirement community. All apartments are rented under a month to month rental agreement, but you have the right to cancel at anytime with a 15 day or 30 day notice depending on your circumstances.

We do not require any large up front investment, endowment, buy-in, or entrance fees.

Q: Sounds great! How do I sign up?

A. Simply stop by our information office for a presentation of the community and available units, select your apartment and make a fully refundable reservation deposit of $100. If for any reason you do not move in to Ponds at Punalu'u, your deposit will be promptly refunded.
